I am actually a poet, but during this time I am taking a digital arts class. Of course when COVID hit everybody was very devastated. So any apprehensions that I had about taking the vaccination were more so influenced by the behavior of the people who were \"Vaccination Warriors\", which you can see in my picture. The figure in the middle represents me as a woman of color in the state of Vermont. Once I started seeing people having negative effects to the vaccination then after that, it made me more concerned that everywhere that you went, no matter what you were talking about, everybody was trying to force you to get vaccinated. There is a figure at the bottom, which represents a graph which shows that, you know, basically the more people that got vaccinated, the more people that got sick, meaning that New England was the most vaccinated part of the United States. And at first we didn't have COVID up here which is why most people came up here. But then once more people got vaccinated, the more people got sick in New England, even though supposedly the COVID vaccination was supposed to help.","format":"text/plain"},"target":"https://clemmonsfamilyfarminc.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1995/collection_resources/77968/file/166032#t=85.0,146.0"},{"id":"https://clemmonsfamilyfarminc.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1995/collection_resources/77968/file/166032/transcript/39538/annotation/5","type":"Annotation","motivation":"transcribing","body":{"type":"TextualBody","value":"Another figure that you'll see in my picture is that you'll see money floating around because not only do we have the vaccination warriors that were, you know, basically forcing us to get vaccinated or you know, telling us, you know, all these negative things that could happen to us if we didn't get vaccinated. I started noticing that they started offering people of color money to get vaccinated. And that is what made me really scared. Because to push something so hard, which is supposed to be good for us. It was scary because I've never seen anything pushed so much in my life that way, and to tell people of color that they have priority over, you know, priority over something that could potentially save lives, maybe even more skeptical because, you know, we're still not free. And I became more comfortable with my decision as time went on, which was that I noticed that when my son graduated that it was only the non-vaccinated kids that did not catch COVID during the school dance or the graduation, or the fact of the people who are catching COVID and are still carriers are the people who are vaccinated. You know, I am not a scientist. However, I don't think that science can even explain as to why. So because there is not enough information for me, considering that, you know, clinical trials take 10 to 15 years and this vaccination came overnight, it solidified my decision not to vaccinate me and my family. And I will continue to stand by that until there is actual evidence that proves that the vaccination protects you against COVID.","format":"text/plain"},"target":"https://clemmonsfamilyfarminc.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1995/collection_resources/77968/file/166032#t=212.0,283.6"}]}]}]}
