Well, in that time, it was Jim Crow laws that unified them into a forced outcome to survive.And listening to those kinds of tales it made me reflect on how to put it in a simple format versus the new forms of complexity that try to you know use words along with behavior, more than just words to create a story that has been handed down like the old folk tales from back in slavery to the present day.","format":"text/plain"},"target":"https://clemmonsfamilyfarminc.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1995/collection_resources/75284/file/165066#t=0.0,73.0"},{"id":"https://clemmonsfamilyfarminc.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1995/collection_resources/75284/file/165066/transcript/39327/annotation/2","type":"Annotation","motivation":"transcribing","body":{"type":"TextualBody","value":"Well the way I use UFO is is simply as how I identified it as unified forced outcome, whereas pre-COVID there was a split, what I would say with through the social mediums, among the Black community where there was people trying to identify who we are and I thought that was sort of almost finding a backwards way to describe something that wasn't necessary. People already know we're Black. We have been Black since coming here. So I thought the movements of Black Lives Matter was unnecessary in a time period where it wasn't what mattered to us as Black people as much as the walls that have destroyed the Black people and the Black culture. Since we have been here and brought here from Africa. What has been forced through that is the outcome where people now through COVID realize as a culture we have been dissected to where we do not know our true identity. And that is just, we are a Black nation, or we just are Black people. Instead of trying to figure out through whatever material we use to express who we are, we just need to realize if we work together and do that would change the outcome. That's what's happening. Now where I see, we are working together. I feel we are forced to work together in unity because of all of the different things that are happening to us, that are signs that are very negative. So I feel that we are forced based on those things around us globally and nationally that have forced us, not all of us but many of us, to unify of what we're going through, are continuing to go through, which is very in my opinion, a rebirth, mentally and physically. What I mean by that is where once again, we're trying to redesign who we are as Black people and then also being accepted in the nation, where we are, in hopefully, a unified nation.","format":"text/plain"},"target":"https://clemmonsfamilyfarminc.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1995/collection_resources/75284/file/165066#t=73.0,220.85397"}]}]}]}
