Between May and December, 2022, Clemmons Family Farm collected stories from eleven registered members of the Vermont African-American/African Diaspora Artists' Network (VAAADAN).  The individuals contributing to this collection shared their stories as Black Vermonters and amplified their stories with their creative works as artists. Most of the stories were gathered through Zoom calls with the artists.  The artists' creative work includes a diverse collection of visual arts, spoken or written word poetry, and song. This collection includes written transcripts of the VAAADAN artists' stories, their explanations of their artwork, and occasionally their responses to specific questions from a facilitator for further clarifications.  All rights are reserved on the stories and artwork featured in this collection.
