During the month of November 2021, the Beneath Our Skin COVID 19 vaccination storytelling project invited Black Vermonters and providers to use a call-in line to share their stories with trained artists who facilitated one-on-one sessions over the phone.  The artists gave a series of verbal prompts to help call-in participants share their stories. No visual or performing arts prompts were used in the call-in storytelling sessions. Call-in storytelling sessions were conducted with a total of eight Black Vermonters. No providers called in to share their stories over the phone. All rights are reserved on the stories featured in this collection.
